WHO WE ARE

Avenue Black is an extension of who I am and where I come from. Being born from Mount Vernon, NY gives me a sense of pride and purpose. When I was growing up I encountered many of life's early lessons in between Fourth Ave and my old family's house on Franklin. I don't do anything unintentionally so I wanted to not only pay homage to where I come from but to where I'm going.

My apparel is just an extension of me. An extension of my passion as a graphic artist and all the things that inspire me as a Black man in America. It's an appreciation of the beauty, purpose and power of us as people. It's for anyone who loves life. Who loves love and who doesn't mind being bold but still fashionably simple.

Life will always make room for uncertainty so it's important to know your why and walk in your now and be the best version of your purpose daily. When I think of where I'm going I know that it's because I have not only grown from my past but I've embraced it and everything it's taught me.
